Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her after her hometown. Michel Horowitz is her father as well as Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder's father and mother also happen to be Jewish. Ryder believes herself to being Jewish. Ryder is the younger sister of Uria and half-siblings Jubal as well as Sunyata. Ryder along with her whole family moved to Mendocino, California in the year 2000, when Ryder was seven. They didn't even have electricity. Ryder who was an avid reader aged 12 became a book worm because Ryder did not have access to television. Ryder, then 12, was enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. In 1986 she landed her first big-screen role in the movie Lucas at just 15 years old. Ryder experienced bullying at the high school. Her acting career, she hoped to help, could have helped her. Unfortunately that didn't come to happen. But she continued to chase the dreams she had. Ryder made her breakthrough with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder was able to continue her successful performances in various films. Ryder was nominated twice for Academy Awards one for her part on The Age of Innocence (1993).
